Book a demoThe Problem
Med spas hire fast, and the training has to be clinic-specific
Buying a generic online course feels like the quick answer. For much of what a new hire must learn, it isn't, because the requirement is to train people on how your clinic does things.
You hire fast
Opening day and a busy season both mean new people starting at once, often before anyone has time to sit with them.
The training has to be yours
Much of what new staff must learn is specific to your clinic: your exposure control plan, your devices, your medical director’s protocols, your booking and consultation process.
A generic video isn’t enough
OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens training must explain your own exposure control plan and allow interactive questions, and OSHA has said a qualified trainer must be immediately available during computer-based training.

How It Works
From your documents to trained staff
Step 1: Send us your materials
Your procedures, employee handbook and device manuals, plus your medical director’s protocols and your exposure control plan.
Step 2: We build interactive lessons in days
Short lessons with knowledge checks, built from your documents, your devices and your clinic’s way of doing things.
Step 3: Staff take them on their phone
They scan a QR code or enter a PIN. No app to download and no company email needed.
Step 4: In English or Spanish
Each lesson is available in English or Spanish, so every staff member trains in the language they read best.
The Record
Records ready for an inspector
“We trained everyone” is a claim. A per-person record of who completed which lesson, when, and with what score is evidence, and it builds itself as your staff finish their lessons.
Who completed which lesson
Every staff member and every required lesson, by name and role
When
Dated completions that show new-hire timing and the yearly cycle
With what score
Answers and scores per person, so you can see understanding, not just attendance
Certificates and exports
A certificate for each completion and exportable records for an inspector, insurer or buyer
Why Now
States are tightening the rules
Between 2025 and 2026, several states changed who may perform med spa treatments and how clinics are overseen. A few examples:
Texas, September 1, 2025. Elective IV therapy may be delegated only to a physician assistant, advanced practice registered nurse or registered nurse acting under adequate physician supervision (HB 3749, “Jenifer’s Law”).
Oklahoma, March 24, 2026. The Board of Nursing says nurses performing aesthetic procedures need an individualized order and a completed history and physical; standing orders are not a substitute.
New York, January 8, 2026. The Department of State reported 223 businesses inspected and 87 cited for possible violations, including the unlawful practice of medicine.
Indiana, January 1, 2027. State registration for medical spas opens under Senate Bill 282.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can’t I just buy an online course?
You can buy one for general knowledge, but OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens rule asks for more than a generic video. The training has to explain your own exposure control plan and how staff get a copy, and it has to include a chance for interactive questions and answers; OSHA has said a qualified trainer must be immediately available while people take computer-based training. We build the lessons around your plan and your procedures. You decide who on your team answers questions during training.
How long does setup take?
Send us your procedures, handbook and device manuals, and the first interactive lessons come back in days. Staff can start on their phones as soon as each lesson is published.
Do you replace our medical director’s protocols?
No. Your medical director’s written protocols stay exactly as they are. We train your staff on them: who may do what under whose supervision, how each device and treatment is done in your clinic, and what to do when something goes wrong.
What happens when rules change?
We update the affected lessons, the updated version goes out to your staff, and their records show who completed which version and when. Rules for med spas are changing state by state; our staff training checklist tracks the recent changes.
Do staff need company email accounts or an app?
No. Staff open their lessons on their own phones by scanning a QR code or entering a short PIN. There is no app to download and no company email to set up. Lessons are available in English or Spanish.
Does this make our med spa compliant?
No training product can promise that. Lasso Learn covers the staff training you are required to provide and gives you records ready for an inspector. Licensing, supervision, ownership and your written programs are decisions for you, your medical director and your attorney.
